Qualifications required to charter a bareboat

Bareboat yacht charter in Greece, legally requires minimum one original sailing certificate /license (in English language or officially translated). Certificates for motor boats, day-skipper, or sailing on day-light or with any other limitations are not accepted from the Port Authorities.

If I need to hire a professional skipper? In case you need to hire a skipper, we can settle everything so that a very experienced professional skipper will join you at extra charge. Please remember that a skipper needs to be provided with his own cabin, as he is obliged to sleep onboard.

Charter schedule

Yachts charters begin and end Saturdays for multiples of seven days. In the low season period however, this may be flexible and there could be some exceptions always depending on yachts availability.

Always charters begin at 17:00 hrs on the first day. In case we can deliver the yacht earlier (without compromising our standards) we will do so, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Charters end at 09:00 on the last day of charter. You will have to be back to Padomar base the evening before disembarkation, at 18:00 hrs the latest, overnight on board and depart around 09:00 hrs on next morning, giving us time to have the yacht prepared and in perfect working condition for the next charter.
